Phalanx Class Star Destroyer

The Phalanx Class Star Destroyer was designed and constructed by Imperial Loyalist on the Unknown region planet of Quovala who had remained independent during the rise and reign of the First order.
The Purpose of the Phalanx class is to serve as the centre piece of the imperial resurgent formations. With its heavy armour and shields as well as its intensive firepower The Phalanx pushes into the enemy formation while the rest of the resurgent fleet quickly moves to surround and cut off any escape attempts made by new republic forces.
The weakest point of the Phalanx is the Large Hangar at the Keel of the Ship. This hangar does however allow for the carrying of a large complement of support with it carrying fighter wings each containing a variety of fighters and bombers. Aswell as four Corvettes which are unable to navigate the Unstable and Dangerous space of the Unknown Regions.
The use of Kyber in the Phalanx’s already substantially sized Reactor has allowed for the Phalanx to be equipped with an armament which substantially outmatches any republic ship smaller than larger sized Dreadnoughts.
